Jeremy Scott & New Eras Arab Spring

26 Sep

Over the top, daring, eye catching always come to mind on a Jeremy Scott collection. SS13 he presented nothing less with ‘Arab Spring’ for his most recent Fashion Week showcase.

Animal skin, crazy infusions of gold & cheeky sheers set the hip hop meets Arab prince tone..Think Fresh Prince meets Aladdin.

This summer headwear was street fashion hottest accessory whether you were rocking a snapback,  cool headtie or even statement hair and Scott is right on it for next year with this offering of fitteds. Teaming up with New Era, just as with the latest clothing collection the caps centre on fusing urban styling with luxurious & double-take embellishing.

This pack of baroque applique, toffee leather and tassled snake styles are a breath of fashion air and is something that’s been missing from caps of late with the heavy US sporting influence. It is yet to be announced as to how/where the caps can be purchased but I predict these will be just as successfully as the Jeremy Scott x Adidas Originals collabo.

Rita Ora x GQ Mag

31 Aug

With the recent release of Rita Oras debut album Ora the UK songtress has taken to the pages of GQ as part of her promotional journey. Shot by Sebastian Kim, the ‘How we do’ singer is transformed from her usual fun & funky self to a sleeker & sexier version.

Signing to Jay Zs label Roc nation in 2009, Rita Ora was given three years to work on her album and evolve as an artist. That time has now come to see how her three years under the watchful eye of Jay Z has paid off.

“You can tell an honest artist from one who’s just been given all their songs.” ..well it looks like Rita definitely thinks so!

Ora out in stores across the UK now.

Coldplay ft Rihanna- Princess of China [New Video]

3 Jun

The visuals to the Coldplay x Rihanna collaboration Princess of China has finally dropped after weeks of anticipation built up from Rihanna’s Instagram sneak peek pics. Rihanna takes on the role of a hypnotising oriental princess and Chris Martin as a heroic samurai with a great on screen chemistry.

Heavily inspired by Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon the video is effortlessly alluring.
