Special FX Fickles. Heat Sensitive Nail Polish

PRL Product Review: Heat sensitive nail polish by FX Nailz

I’m always on the look out for new and exciting fashion & beauty trends and when I heard about colour changing polish I had to try!

There are a few brands out on the market who offer colour changing nail varnish that adjusts according to body/room temperature. I was a bit sceptical at how well it would work but excited none the less. Through my searching I came across FX Nailz a UK based company and decided to experiment with them, at £4.50 a bottle & free postage why not!

My Fuchsia to Cream Peach varnish took only a few days to arrive and I applied two coats of the FX Fickles polish over a coat of clear nail hardener. No top coat.

Verdict: Love it. I didn’t expect it to work as well as it did. The colour is quite light so works well as an everyday polish. The only down side would be the size of the bottle however it works a treat!

Deadly Nail Art

Tip: A nail art pen/brush is essential for this part to create neat lines

Tip: Pour nail polish onto a surface/pot & dip the end of a straw in the paint ensuring a film forms over the end and then blow (on the clean end of course!)

Grrrrreat Kicks

Adidas Originals rarely fails to disappoint when it comes to their kicks and these new high tops definitely don’t. The Forum Mid silhouette has been jazzed up with a furry leopard print on the outer in addition to the classic leather.

A Lyrical Genius

Disney Has Moved Into A ‘New Era’

Every other brand these days seems to be taking on the ‘urban’ slant. It seems to be the ‘in’ thing to do at the moment: Toyota, Wetabix, FCUK (& the list goes on) to name a few, so it’s no surprise that there is now a Disney x New Era 59Fifty collabo!

There are four great designs on offer from this collection which feature classic Disney images underneath the caps brim and on the outer of the hat. No matter how old you get Disney never loses its magic.

Think Moulin Rogue with your deuces up. Fashion house Chanel has come up with this clever fancy finger flick to show off their latest line of nail varnish. Makes you want to paint your nails and get tapping along too.
